The
Bristol RS Owners Club
The
Bristol Group of the RS Owners Club has been running for a good
few years , but a few years back it was rekindled by Ian Pullin after a few
years, at the same time The Swindon Group
was started .
We
have a good number of members from the Bristol, Gloucester, and
Cheltenham, Weston-super-Mare areas and also from further afar.
Food
is available frequently. In the summer months B-B-Q's are laid on for our members free of
charge.
We
meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month
at the North Bristol Rugby Club , Almondsbury . Nr Thornbury
Bristol . 7.30pm Onwards till Late, and all we ask is that
you pay £1 after you become a registered RSOC member , However you
do not have to be a member of the National Club to take part in
many of our events , but we would like you to be a RSOC
member
soon after joining us.
We
welcome any one owning an RS whether it’s an Escort , Fiesta ,
Capri or Sierra , regardless of year , So come on down !
The
Bristol Group attend lots of local and Nation wide shows i.e.
Castle Combe Action Days , Trax’s at Silverstone, Bristol
Motor and Leisure Show , Malvern Motoring Event and many more
during the show season, which run from April through to October
each year and ALL members are invited to take part in these
shows and events.
The
Swindon RS Owners Club
The
Swindon RS Owners Group was founded in 1994, we meet from 7.30pm
on the first Tuesday of each Month, we now meet at the White
Hart Pub, Stratton Swindon, the pub can be founded on the A419
and A420 roundabout within minutes of Jt 15 M4.
All RS marques are
welcome, our members travel from Areas as wide as Oxford in the
North, Reading to the East, Devizes in the South and Bristol in
the West.
Food
is available often; buffets are laid on for our members free of
charge. Each Month at 9.00pm a formal presentation and
discussion of various current group activities takes place.
The group has a
full Events calendar each year, not only attending Regional and
National Car Shows, Motor Sport Events but also having local
Quizzes, Video or games nights and Guess speakers on selected
club nights. Mail-shots are regularly sent out to our members to
keep you up to speed with what's new or going on.
We are sponsored by
Hartwell Ford of Swindon where good discounts can be had for
Parts and Servicing.
If you have a RS
and live locally come along one Tuesday evening and ask for
Andy, Rich, Bob or Mark and you’ll be made more than welcome.
Our
monthly calendar if full for twelve month period, if its not a
magazine visiting, it’s the Summer BBQ, Annual Christmas
Party, Regional Day/National Day familiarization and so on…
It’s always busy.
The
Bristol RS Owners Club and The Swindon RS Owners club Work
together closely and share many common goals in our activities
as car enthusiasts. The Castle Combe event takes place every
year, we are in out
10th Year and move forward every
year to bring you an excellent motor sport event.
